The field recordings were taken in Haleakalā National Park and throughout the Pacific Northwest. I accumulated the recordings from every camping trip and hike I took in 2020 - 2021.

I recorded acoustic / electric guitars and synthesizers onto tape. I made loops out of the recordings or rerecorded them back to tape. It was important to have the music feel impermanent. I hope that it creates feelings of nostalgia and subtle reminders of disintegration.
